I’m Dominik Vodička. I take personal responsibility for the technical result.
I work independently as an IT specialist for businesses. I assess the situation, design the solution and implement it myself, from the first contact through to handover.
See my workI’m most useful where technology is tied to how a business runs.
I don’t look at a single server, network or application in isolation. I need to understand who uses it, what depends on it and what result the business actually needs.
IT and infrastructure management
Servers, networks, accounts, backups, security, monitoring and planned changes are all connected, so I deal with them together - whether it’s a one-off job or long-term responsibility for a defined part of your company’s IT.

I design internal tools, integrations, applications and websites around a specific process, its data and its users. Every project has its own scope, testing, deployment and handover.

When I need to verify something first, I say so. Clients should know what is fact, what is an assumption and where a change carries risk.
First I separate the problem from its cause and facts from assumptions - only then do I propose a course of action, its scope and its risks.
- Accounts and data stay with you
- Your business owns its domains, main accounts and data. I work with the access you entrust to me, and it can be revoked when our cooperation ends.
- Changes are recorded
- What I changed and why is handed over in documentation, with recommendations for ongoing operation, so that another administrator can pick up the work.
- Code and deployment agreed in advance
- For software, we agree in writing before work starts on ownership of the source code, licences, where the repository is hosted and the scope of the deployment documentation.
- Availability and its limits
- I work on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm. For long-term management, the response to an outage is set by the agreed service level; out-of-hours cover is possible only by explicit agreement.
Who working with me directly suits.
It depends on the scope of the work and whether you want one accountable person or a wider team with more specialisms.
It’s a good fit when
- You want one person to handle everything.I know the system’s history, the changes made and the reasons behind decisions.
- You want clear accountability.I assess the problem, fix it and explain the result.
- You want a precisely defined scope of work.It can cover all of your IT, or just servers, the network or backups.
An in-house or mixed team is better when
- You need someone on site every day.Remote management wouldn’t be enough.
- You need several specialisms at once.A wider team can cover more areas in parallel.
- Responsibility can be divided. An in-house person handles day-to-day operations, an external specialist a specific area.
Work I’ve done for clients.
From website design to long-term infrastructure management.
